Colorado Iditarod mushers - 2006

Race standings as of Mar. 19:
One finished and one to go 
          
Bill Pinkham finished in 40th place with nine dogs at 9:49 p.m. on Mar. 16 with a time of 11 days, 7 hours, 39 minutes and 44 seconds. This is 16 hours faster than his 2005 time when he finished in 42nd place.
Lachlan Clarke finished at 10:26 a.m. today in 63rd place with 12 dogs. His time was 13 days, 20 hours, 26 minutes and 41 seconds - two and a half hours faster than his time in 2005.
 

Veteran mushers Bill Pinkham from Glenwood Springs, Colo. and Lachlan Clarke from Buena Vista are back in Alaska on the Iditarod trail racing 1,100 miles from Anchorage to Nome. This is Pinkham's fourth Iditarod. He finished 42nd in 2005 and 33rd in 2004. Clarke is embarking on his third Iditarod having scratched in 2003 and finishing 60th in 2005.
