Colorado Iditarod mushers
Final race update - Both Colorado mushers finish the Last Greatest Race

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA -- Buena Vista musher Lachlan Clarke completed the Iditarod today on his second attempt. Clarke arrived in Nome just before 1 p.m. today with 11 dogs. His time was 13 days 22 hours 53 minutes 3 seconds.

Glenwood Springs musher Bill Pinkham arrived in Nome Saturday at 2:52 p.m. with nine dogs to finish the race in 42nd place. His time was 12 days 52 minutes 49 seconds. This is Pinkham's third finish in as many races.

The red lantern position is currently held by Phil Morgan of Anchorage, Alaska. Morgan is in Elim which should place him in Nome on Monday March 21. The red lantern is an honor held for the last musher to finish the race in Nome. The musher carries a red lantern the last short distance in to town signaling the official end of the race.
