ANCHORAGE, ALASKA --

Bill Pinkham crossed the finish line in Nome last night at 8:35 with nine dogs to place 32nd. His official time in the race was 11 days, 5 hours, 35 minutes and 40 seconds on the trail - a personal best.

Lance Mackey won this year's Iditarod with a time of nine days and five-plus hours. Mackey set a record by winning both the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest in the same year.

Colorado's other two mushers, Butch Austin and Lachlan Clarke both scratched early in the race.
